A click on “Save” puts the ISO image of your disc where you want it. Then you select the "Copy" tab, click on "Scan" and select the DVD or CD drive. Start Burn now right-click the first time to bypass gatekeeper protection. Connect your USB DVD drive and insert the CD or DVD you want to create an ISO from. Annoying but tolerable if your have the free burning program Burn for MacOS. As said before, MacOS doesn't support one in Disk Utility for some versions Disc imaging from optical media more. The easiest way is to create an ISO file directly from the disc. Create ISO file on Mac directly from CD or DVD
